At Frances Olive Anderson

I have never thought that I would get the chance to visit my partner school again... Not for the 4th time.

This visit was special, I got to see how they have changed and moved on to be leaders in international and national work among other primary schools.

My days there were well organized, I had better chance to teach and interact in more classes.

(Part of my schedule)

During the assembly, I showed everyone pictures and videos about my school focusing on how similar our students can be.

I taught written and spoken Arabic to years 6,5,4,and 3. They were really excited to be speaking a foreign language so well and write their names so perfectly.

(After some of my arabic classes)

Next I read a famous real lebanese story (The fool of Chanay) that highlights the importance of collaboration and acceptance to years 3 and 4, and then did some art activity with year 3.

Later on, I reflected on a story year 6 were reading about "Oranges in no man's land" and discussed the Lebanese civil war mentioned in the story and its impact.
(Talking about the Civil war and reflection on "Oranges in no man's land")

Also we had the time to discover lebanon's landmarks and famous streets on map and virtually too before checking them on posters and brochures.
(Information about lebanon)
(Posters about famous landmarks in lebanon)
It was exciting seeing how well knowledgeable they got about Lebanon and how eager they are to know more.
Moreover I had time to follow it with the trickiest kahoot assessment that left everyone buzzing like a bee... Excitement was everywhere

Preparing for McMillan 's world biggest coffee morning fund for cancer center was a main event that Friday, it is an excellent way to raise awareness on the importance of social work and empathizing with others
