Connecting Classroom Cluster Visit

To raise a global citizen who respects differences and celebrates similarities, Kirkby on Bain staff start working on students' personal goals based on British values and beliefs as early as reception classes. That's simply wonderful!  Nivine B. 

A wonderful day spent  at Ruskington school.We attended classes where teachers related lessons to real life situations ,used exciting materials and delt with learners according to their needs.So every child was involved in the learing process.

Boosting the learning process by adapting the delivery methods based on students' learning needs! At Kirkby on Bain, the headteacher, Ms Day, explained to us how they vary and differenciate in the teaching process according to students levels, needs, and learning styles. The national curriculum is set for them but it is the duty of the teaching staff to prepare the teaching materials and aids that are suitable for THAT specific group of learners. Nivine B

Although children often refer to  it as 'Parents Get Lost', because they can spend more than a day there without their parents, the company actually takes its name from the man who started it all in the 1950s - Peter Gordon Lawrence. PGL is simply a huge area with lots of activities designed to enhance kids' skills and lifestyle. Students from my partner school, Frances Olive Anderson, were spending 3 full days there along with their head teacher Mrs. WOOLLY and Mr. COOK. It was an opportunity to bond more, experience what resembles life's obstacles, learn how to overcome their fears, be creative and imaginative, and build their self esteem.  No matter what the weather is like A really huge place that caters the needs of more than 1000 kids and their 200 trainers and teachers Even if they are up alone, they are never alone with the encouragement of everyone else coaxing them to step it up.  And they made it back to school 🚸  Myassar Itani

Entering the teachers’ lounge in Ruskington Chestnut Primary School, the Lebanese Cluster of CC4 felt a flow of positive energy and warm bonding between the members of the staff. What caught our attention was the board in the room which is decorated by special tips on mediation, reducing stress, tips to balance your life and work, guide to staff wellbeing and much more.... This flow of motivation is a key to better productivity and emotional support that teachers need in their journey in any school. We could connect easily with the HeadTeachers and the teachers. What a great day we spent at Ruskington Chestnut Street School!The teachers welcomed us warmly and shared with us what they were doing in their classes.They answered our questions about things done and shared with us their experience.It was great to meet expert  and cooperative staff. Give Students a Chance to Shine! Like passion, motivation eventually fades away if you don’t feed it every day. It takes time, effort and energy - but it is worthwhile. Motivation has the biggest pie in Ruskington Chestnut Street School. In every corner, you can find a caption or a poster to encourage students to be confident, responsible, independent and self-regulated learners. In every classroom, you can see a lovely and cooperative teacher who inspires her students to work collaboratively. This creates a motivational classroom environment and gives students the chance to shine and to express themselves in a perfect way. Maha
